Jacques Vest

Dr. Vest is a historian of science and technology whose work has appeared in the journals Modern American History, Technology and Culture and The Virginia Magazine of History and Biography as well as several edited volumes, public exhibits, and online fora. He has over 15 years of experience in research and analysis–work that has spanned a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies from archival research and bibliometrics to interviews and sentiment analysis. Recent projects have included work for the United States Food and Drug Administration, the National Cancer Institute, Rice University, Boston College, Seoul National University and Nanjing University. Dr. Vest is particularly interested in the application of Clarivate data to novel problems, including those in the areas of research security and integrity.
